Pavao Pap and Lea Kapoši are this year winners of the competition „Danube Art Master 2015!“

The art competition „Danube Art Master“ each year bring together a number of artists betwen the ages 6 and 16. It is organized in all 14 county of the Danube region. „The biggest Danube carnival“ was the theme title on which the contestants had an assignment to create their own ecological work of art. Inspired by the powerfull Danube young artists shown how clever and creative they are. In Osijek on Sunday 12.7.2015. the winning works has been proclaimed and the artists has been awarded.

Pavao Pap and Lea Kapoši from Marinci won the first place with their work by the name „Crown of the Danube king and queen of Vuka and their scepter of love.“The work came to existance with the help of their mentor Nevenka Škrabo. Second place took the art work titeld „Ready for the Danube carnival“ which made Lovro Ujlaki and Klara Seleš with the help of their mentor Senka Pintarić from Koprivnica.Third place won Tonka Antološ from Šibenik with her work „Miško“ created by the help of her mentor Helena Šarić.

The organiser of the national competition, the Association for nature and environment protection Green Osijek, awarded the authors of 10 best works and their mentors with workshop at the Zoo in Osijek and guided tour of the Zoo, and a range of other activities and events celebrating the birthday of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Mura – Drava – Danube popularly called “European Amazon”.

The winning work  was sent to the international competition “Danube Art Master”. Among the 14 artist work they will choose the best one and the winner will be awarded with profesional camera and other valuable prices.The organizer of the international  competition is  the Global Water Partnership in Central and Eastern Europe (GWP CEE) and the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR).
